Bristol Driving Lessons
Getting Started
Learning to drive, whether a complete beginner or just brushing up on your skills before a test, can be a daunting challenge in Bristol, which is why it's important to have everything you can sorted out in advance so that you're in the most relaxed environment and frame of mind possible to maximise your learning and development.
Before you start learning to drive in Bristol you will need to apply for your provisional driving license, so that you are legal to learn on the roads. You can apply via the government website on www.gov.uk. You also need to be able to read a number plate from 20 metres. More information about requirements can be found on the government website.
Once the license has arrived in the post you can then book yourself in for your first driving lesson and we hope you have your first Bristol driving lesson with us!
We aim to provide each individual with a personal service, catering for individual needs, so when you contact us we will ask if you have any concerns or worries which we may be able to attend to from the off. Most pupils are nervous and excited to start learning, and we aim to get you driving as soon as possible, all of our lessons are catered to meet the individuals learning speed and specific requirements.
You'll drive on the road on your first lesson!
Unlike some driving schools who will keep you in a car park or offer you commentary driving keeping you in the passenger seat. OUR BRISTOL DRIVING SCHOOL AIM TO HAVE YOU DRIVING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
We can collect/drop off pupils at home, work, college, university and school so long as you give us adequate notice, and aim to be as accommodating as possible.
During your first lesson it is customary for the instructor to drive you to a quiet location to get started, and the rest of the lesson will depend on the level of ability each pupil is at.
